Our journey in video production
It all started with movies.
UPTIME Film's owner, Jeremy Knight, began his journey in the film world as a passionate movie buff. He often spent hours browsing the various titles at his local Blockbuster in Chicago, where his father worked. This early exposure to film set the stage for a never-ending passion and love for the medium, which has only grown over the decades since. As video stores began to close, Jeremy's allowance increased, enabling him to visit the theater more frequently. The cinema became his second home until this day, nurturing his growing passion for film, popcorn, Coke ICEEs, and Coen Brothers classics. Eventually, he pursued his interest in the subject by studying film at San Jacinto College, where he honed his skills as a videographer and graduated with an Associate of Arts (AA) in Film Production. With his newfound knowledge and experience, Jeremy embarked on a professional film and video production career. Over the next five years, he worked on hundreds of projects as a videographer and editor for his company and numerous local studios. He quickly discovered a passion for documenting events and local business stories and showcasing their products and services to potential customers.
How UPTIME Films came to be
UPTIME Films, founded by Jeremy in 2017, started as an all-inclusive video production company that serviced businesses and wedding clients. Recently, UPTIME Films positioned itself to focus more on the promotional side, connecting brands with their potential clients and employees through various forms of video marketing. Today, they proudly reflect upon this journey, having worked on hundreds of varied projects and brands from numerous industries. They have had the opportunity to work with so many incredible people along the way, documenting the many unique stories they have to share. As they continue their journey, they remain devoted to pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and exceeding expectations. They look forward to serving their future clients with the same passion that ignited UPTIME Films in the first place, never forgetting how far they've come.
Their biggest supporters
UPTIME Films wouldn't be the company it is today without the unwavering support of family, friends, and clients who have carried them and supported the business from the beginning. Jeremy attributes his personal and professional success to the unwavering support of his parents, siblings, grandparents, and amazing wife, Marissa. Their involvement and encouragement have nurtured his passion for storytelling from his early days at Blockbuster to his current role as the Creative Director of UPTIME Films. Jeremy and Marissa live in Pearland, TX, where they watch movies, stand-up comedy, and baseball and are kitty-parents to their beloved furry companion and company mascot, Yogurt.
